In 2025, NIPRO on the Move once again brought colleagues together across borders, time zones, and roles, this time with results that went well beyond the original goal.
What began as a virtual movement challenge turned into a collective effort powered by consistency, encouragement, and everyday commitment.
What Is NIPRO on the Move?
NIPRO on the Move began as a small initiative in Belgium, encouraging colleagues to stay active during the darker winter months. Following its strong response, it became a formal challenge in 2021, hosted on the My Virtual Mission app, with participants virtually traveling from NIPRO’s European headquarters in Belgium to its global headquarters in Japan.
Since then, it has grown into a recurring global initiative that brings colleagues together through shared movement and participation.
Fast Forward to 2025
Going Further Than Planned
- Target distance: 31,610 km
- Distance achieved: 34,840 km
A total of 190 colleagues from 12 countries took part, sharing 5,308 activity updates along the way. Each entry reflected not just kilometers covered, but time intentionally set aside for health and wellbeing.
Movement in All Its Forms
Participants chose activities that fit naturally into their lives. These included walking, running, cycling, swimming, rowing, dancing, roller skating, tennis, squash, padel, gym workouts, Pilates, bootcamp, CrossFit, and team sports such as soccer, handball, and basketball.
The variety made the challenge inclusive and personal—there was no single way to participate, only a shared willingness to keep moving.

🌱 1,600 tons of CO₂ offset
👷 250 hours of local employment created
A Growing Global Tradition
NIPRO on the Move 2025 marked the fifth virtual mission, connecting colleagues across offices in Sweden, Poland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Nigeria, Dubai, and South Africa.
What stood out most was not the numbers alone, but the steady participation and shared encouragement that carried the challenge forward.
As the initiative continues to evolve, it remains a simple reminder: when people move together—at their own pace—progress follows naturally.
