As a manufacturer of medical devices, in alignment with our obligations under EN ISO 13485 and MDR EU 2017/745, Nipro Pure Water GmbH has implemented a robust standard operating procedure for the evaluation and selection of suppliers. This methodology is founded on key criteria including the quality of goods and services, organizational management systems, operational performance, and delivery performance.  

NPW conducts on-site audits to check the conformity of suppliers with their necessary legal obligations and to identify the level of their qualification. NPW monitors the validity of quality certificates, the legal licenses, and the technical evidence supporting their products, on a continuous basis. 

In line with our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, we have expanded our supplier evaluation methodology to encompass stringent environmental criteria. These include compliance with environmental regulations, standards, laws, and directives at the EU, national, and local levels. Our requirements cover licenses, permits, and certificates related to RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Battery Regulation, EN ISO 1400, and any applicable environmental regulation, law and standards.
